The Abode has been part of Llandudno for a long time. You will find us under the ornate cast iron colonnade on Gloddaeth Street, flower baskets overhead, chalkboard on the pavement, silver tables out front when the sun is on them. Inside it is dark polished wood, warm low lighting and small vases of pink flowers, bright by the windows in the day and cosy at night.
A bar and restaurant on Llandudno's high street, under the old Victorian canopy. Generous British and European plates, a proper drink, and a room that fills up fast with holidaymakers, couples and families.
We cook generous British and European food and we do not overcomplicate it. Sunday roasts with towering Yorkshire puddings, steak with onion rings, seafood linguine, homemade puddings with a dusting of icing sugar. Everything comes to the table on chunky ceramic with the sauces alongside, and the portions are honest.
The bar half of our name matters as much as the restaurant half. Have a good drink with your meal in the warm, cosy room at night, or take one of the silver tables outside under the flower baskets and festoon lights when the sun is out.

This is not a special occasion dining room and we would not want it to be. It is an all-day seaside spot at a fair price, the sort of place people come back to every time they are in town. The room is usually busy, so it is worth booking a table.

Guests keep saying the food is far better than they expected at the price, with fresh seafood, tender meat and portions that never feel mean.
The team gets mentioned again and again: laid back and funny but properly attentive, and calm even on the busiest nights when things do not go to plan.
